Camera in hand, he watches...

15:45 Apr 13 2012
Times Read: 670

Camera in hand he sits on the wall bridging the edge of the small lake from the road; and he listens to the sound of silence, that is broken by a duck and, a backfiring truck, or the occasional car, that is driven way too fast, in a spot of beauty such as Raby Mere, that can bring cheer, to those that appreciate its quiet and trees of many hues of green, with some overhanging the Mere and, seem to reflect its serene charm; and, as he sits where he does, the fellow soon forgets the harm of the week, as his eyes seek an image to photograph; which is no easy feet, as wherever he stares, there is something to pleases: and yet, to have so much choice is somewhat a tease… like, the courting couple, who meet from the office, each lunchtime at one, both married; an they’re so loving, it’s a pity they’re not married, together. And, there’s the doting father’s, delighted with the smiles of their offspring, the one’s that they’re lucky, to see them one day a week. And, turning his head, to stare to his left and the young Heron that stands there on dead wood that projects from the surface of the small lake, imperious; it’s sentinel-like pose recalling for the fellow, a king who survey’s his land and, the fellow with the camera, hears the sweet song of a thrush and then, the sound of hammering, as a woodpecker pecks away; and, this causes a smile, to sit upon his face, as he continues, to sit there… awhile longer, this peaceful, blue-sky day.

What's the purpose?

01:04 Apr 05 2012
Times Read: 678

what is the purpose of man?

why do we Life?

after all, we grow, we learn, we die?

why? what's the purpose?

you think we'd know our purpose.

a computer doesn't: we make them.

a television doesn't... etc...

Purpose needs sentience ... and, much more.

Perhaps, I might suggest, the journey of Life, is purpose in itself...

To some, Life is nothing but a test on the way to death.

I often think... it's just an opportunity to learn...

just seems such a waste that when we have...

...we die.

To some it is an opportunity 'to learn' and to others, there is 'no point'.

It does seem like there's no middle ground.

or... ? Perhaps existence itself is our purpose?

Interesting. :)

I favor the purpose of life is to exist theory, but I don't think anyone truly knows.

Caught thought; thought caught.

Times Read: 684

I type with thought immediate, finding words that meet my need, to say as I want; while to emulate my thought and no more, a computer has to be the size of a house and still it has less imagination than a cat, or a rat and certainly a mouse, while me?

I type with immediate thought and, find words to meet my need, writing what I want.

30 Years After

Thirty Years After

“One thing we learned from the Falklands Conflict,” said a politician, or something like that, said straight-faced, to camera; “was that there is such as a useful war…” And I’d thought of my brother who’d gone out on the Gerraint and

came back on a plane, having served longer than any other soldier there; and then I think of Iraq and Afghanistan and I ask on paper my words scream, “Is there any such thing as a useful war…”
